Brown was the right choice for this red-brick pool setting
This East Hampton property has an unusually large, open backyard, with a broad lawn and mature woods extending well beyond the swimming pool. The family needed a dedicated child-safety barrier around the water, but the fence also had to feel appropriate to the scale and character of the property.
Rob recommended Guardian's Premier brown system specifically because of the red brick patio. The warmer brown tone relates naturally to the brick and the surrounding landscape, helping the removable mesh enclosure look intentional rather than like a contrasting element added after the fact.

Create a child-safety barrier without fighting the brick or the scale of the yard
This pool sits inside a very large, open East Hampton backyard, so the enclosure needed to establish a clear child-safety boundary without making the property feel visually divided. The red brick patio also made color selection especially important; a fence that contrasted too sharply with the surface would have called more attention to itself than necessary.
Brick patios can also require additional installation judgment because the finished brick may sit over compacted aggregate and sand rather than a continuous structural slab. That condition was accounted for here using Sunrise's specialized installation approach, while the details of that method remain part of our proprietary field process.

Brick patios require more than clean drilling
A brick patio can present a different support condition than a conventional concrete pool deck. Brick is commonly installed over compacted aggregate and sand rather than a continuous structural slab, so a removable pool-fence installation has to account for what is beneath the finished surface—not just the appearance of the brick above it.
